Schools of all sizes agree on classroom
audio systems:
Keep it small.
Keep it simple. Keep it ZVOX.
Universities and small colleges install ZVOX audio
systems in their classrooms because they deliver high-quality sound
from a single cabinet.
More and more schools are turning to ZVOX when they need a simple,
affordable, high-quality sound system for use in their classrooms.
Small-town public schools, private colleges and large state universities
are all attracted to the concept of "great sound made simple." Here's
why:
ZVOX systems are simple.
Only one
AC cord. Only one connecting cord. They are simple to connect and
simple to operate. It doesn't even require an owner's manual. Just
connect the ZVOX system to the audio output jacks or headphone jacks
of a PC, DVD player or wireless microphone system. If your school
uses small mixers, it's easy to connect the mixer output to the ZVOX
system.
ZVOX systems are small.
Everything -
speakers, subwoofer, amplifiers and controls - is all one one compact
cabinet. Only 43cm w x 38cm d x 11.5cm h, the ZVOX 315 easily
fits on most "video carts," or inside most podiums.
Security is simple.
With most sound systems, it's necessary to secure multiple
components. With the ZVOX 315, you just have one box to worry about. Many classrooms
secure the 315 system by tethering it to a speaker podium using a single metal
cable (eye-hooks can be sunk into the cabinet's rear or side panels).
High-quality, realistic sound - including great bass.
Unlike other small,
affordable systems, the ZVOV 315 is a true "audiophile quality" product.
It's high-quality speakers, cabinet and amplifiers deliver accurate, high-fidelity
sound. The built-in powered subwoofer produces remarkably deep bass. And its
exclusive PhaseCue™ circuit creates a very wide soundstage - it literally
sounds like a big audio system with speakers 10 feet apart from each other.
Stereophile magazine called the 315 "an audiophile-quality mini-audio
system." TV Guide ranked it the number 2 "cool TV audio product" in
the country. And Sound & Vision magazine awarded the 315 its coveted Reviewer's
Choice Award.
ZVOX is affordable.
At less than $500,
the ZVOX 315 costs far less than other serious, high-quality audio
systems.
School Testimonials:
Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA
Gary Feagley had a problem. As the Audio Video Technician
for Juniata College, he needed to find a high quality sound system
to mate with the DLP projectors he was adding to the classrooms at
this small Pennsylvania college. It had to sound good and fill the
classroom with sound - and it had to fit inside the classroom lecterns.
"I looked at a lot of different systems, but I liked the ZVOX
315 because it's only 43cm wide, and has all its speakers and
amplifiers in a single cabinet. It's even got a powered subwoofer
in it." Late last year, Juniata installed ZVOX 315 systems in
90% of their classrooms.

University of North Carolina, Charlotte
UNC Charlotte has created a customized audio/video system built
around the ZVOX 315. Steve Clark, their Director of Office of Classroom
Support Services, was drawn to the simplicity of the 315, and its
ability to fill even a large classroom with realistic sound. "We
designed a custom lectern built around the ZVOX unit," said
Clark. "We have audio from a computer, a laptop, DVD/VCR, and
a microphone running through the 315 Sound Console via an Extron
MPS112 switcher. The faculty that I have shown it to are truly blown
away! I brought a group of engineers in to the room where the prototype
has been installed and they spent 5 minutes scouring the room for
hidden speakers. The sound fills the room without overpowering the
folks in the front row. The ZVOX 315 Sound Console gives a tremendous
bang for our buck. We have made the unit an integral part of our
UNC Charlotte Standard Technology Enhanced Classroom Specification
for small to medium-sized rooms. I look forward to installing quite
a few more of these in the near future."

"Whenever I purchase online I am interested in only three things:
a quick and timely purchase, speedy delivery and a quality product.
ZVOX Audio provided me with this experience! The product itself is
amazing! Just as PCWorld's review had promised, I was up and running
in approximately 60 seconds. As a teacher, I bought the system to
use in conjunction with a DLP projector and computer. The sound fills
my classroom as advertised! I am extremely delighted with ZVOX Audio
and their wonderful product." - George M., New York Public School
