Hotels and resorts upgrade their rooms with simple, affordable ZVOX sound systems.

As more hotels, resorts and inns compete for upscale customers, many look for an edge. And ZVOX can supply it - in the form of audiophile-quality sound systems that are simple and affordable. It's easy to add ZVOX sound systems to existing TVs - and give guests the option of connecting their iPods or laptop computers as well.

Here's why more hotels and resorts are choosing ZVOX:

ZVOX is simple.
Just connect a ZVOX all-in-one-box audio system to the headphone jack or variable audio outputs of a guestroom's TV. Then set the back-panel volume and subwoofer controls to a level that won't disturb other guests. From then on, operation is simple. Just turn on the TV, and the ZVOX amplifier goes from standby to "on." The guest uses the TV's remote the way he/she normally would. But the volume and mute buttons will now control the ZVOX system instead of the TV's built-in speakers. When the TV is turned off, the ZVOX automatically will go into "standby" mode.

ZVOX is small.
ZVOX systems measure 43cm w x 38cm h x 11.5cm deep. They can fit just about anywhere - including most hotel TV armoires. And everything is all in one box - with only one connecting wire.

Audiophile-quality sound.
The ZVOX 315 is one of the most highly-reviewed audio systems ever. It uses premium-quality speakers and amplifiers, carefully fine-tuned by legendary speaker designer Winslow Burhoe. It can fill even a large room with rich, realistic music - including great bass. Critics from Sound & Vision, Home Theater, Stereophile, Ultimate AV, Audiophile Voice, TV Guide, NBC's Today Show, PC World, PC Magazine, CNET, Popular Mechanics, the Chicago Tribune, Men's Journal and Spike TV all rave about the ZVOX 315. It is arguably the most highly reviewed audio system of the year. See reviews - click here

Great sound…not loud sound.
Because you can control the maximum volume the ZVOX system will deliver, you can also control complaints from neighboring guests. But more importantly, the ZVOX system is designed to sound terrific, even at very low volume levels. Many audio systems sound thin and weak when the volume is low - but not ZVOX. Your guests can enjoy rich, realistic, natural sound at a wide range of sound levels.

Security is simple.
Because the entire system resides in a single cabinet, it's easy to secure the system against theft. Hotels typically use wood screws, driven up through the shelf of the TV armoire, into the MDF cabinet of the ZVOX 315, to secure the system.

No guest access to primary volume control.
The master volume and subwoofer level controls of the ZVOX 315 are located on the unit's back panel - so guests are inhibited from turning up the volume. This allows hotel management to determine maximum volume levels for each system at the time of installation.

Connect with the iPOD market.
The ZVOX system has two active inputs. Connect Input 1 to the TV's output, and your guests can use Input 2 to connect their iPODs, portable CD players or laptop computers. ZVOX even supplies both connecting cords with each system.

ZVOX is affordable.
At only $499.00, the ZVOX 315 system is much more affordable than competing home theatre sound systems.

The Rancho Bernardo Inn Story

When Jason Durbin wanted to make his guestrooms more appealing, he decided to keep it simple. That's why the Rancho Bernardo Inn, where Jason is Business Development Manager, chose ZVOX 315 single-box audio systems to install in the guest rooms of their luxury resorts in southern California.

"We needed an audio system for our resort guest rooms that would upgrade the sound quality of our existing televisions and allow guests to enjoy their portable audio players during their stay," says Durbin. "We did not want to add clutter to the guest rooms by adding satellite speakers and subwoofers. The system we were looking for needed to have premium sound, be classic and understated in appearance, and above all, be simple for guests to operate. After testing many different systems in our guest rooms, we found ZVOX to be the perfect solution; great sound, efficient design, and simple to interface with televisions and any other audio device. Many thanks to ZVOX for bringing everything together in one unit."
