Introducing The New Ingenious ZVOX Loudspeaker High-Performance
Single-Cabinet Surround Sound System.

We have never heard a single-cabinet audio system that sounds as good as the new Ingenious ZVOX Loudspeaker. Similar in size and concept to our highly-acclaimed ZVOX 315 system, the Loudspeaker is an evolutionary product. It provides improved performance in tonal balance, stereo imaging, bass accuracy and overall output capability.

Frankly, we are amazed at how good the Loudspeaker sounds. It is just simply delightful. Female vocalists sound warm, rich and natural. Symphonic music sounds big and airy and awesome. Movie soundtracks are delivered with startling realism - including punchy, accurate bass. And all sound is reproduced with a sense of distortion-free ease?kind of like the system is telling you, "Hey, this isn't hard work - I don't have to strain."

Never before has an audio system offered this combination of high performance, small size, simplicity and affordability.

What is it?

The Ingenious ZVOX Loudspeaker is a revolutionary single-cabinet audio system for use with TVs, iPODs? and PCs. It combines high-quality speakers, amplifier, a built-in powered subwoofer and the ZVOX PhaseCueTM virtual surround sound system - all in one, easy-to-connect cabinet. The Loudspeaker produces lifelike, realistic, room-filling sound - including great bass. It delivers "big system sound" from a single cabinet not much bigger than a receiver or VCR. It's the perfect way for people to add high-quality sound to TVs, MP3 players, PCs and many other audio devices.

The Loudspeaker's benefits.

  • The Loudspeaker is compact. Only 43cm wide x 11.5cm high x 40.5cm deep.
  • The Loudspeaker is simple to install. It uses only one connecting cable to hook up to the audio outputs or headphone jack of a TV. You can also use it with iPods, PCs, satellite radios, portable CD players, game consoles - anything with a headphone jack.
  • The Loudspeaker is simple to use. Once connected to a TV, it can be controlled using the TV's remote. It's auto-on/auto-off circuit comes on when you turn on your TV. The "owner's manual" is one sheet of paper.
  • The Loudspeaker fills a room with high-quality sound. The ZVOX PhaseCue system uses "out of phase" signals to create a very wide soundstage. You'll swear you're listening to speakers 2 metres apart from each other - even though the Loudspeaker is only 43cm wide.
  • The ZVOX PhaseCue system also acts as a virtual surround sound system. While listening to movie soundtracks, owners will hear three dimensional sound - with sound effects literally "surrounding them."
  • The Loudspeaker uses high-quality speakers and amplifiers. Unlike many audio systems in its price range, the ZVOX Loudspeaker doesn't skimp on speakers. It uses three long-range 8cm speakers and a 10cm x 15cm high-mass long-throw powered subwoofer. Created by renowned speaker designer Winslow Burhoe (formerly with AR, KLH, Boston Acoustics - and founder of EPI), the Loudspeaker is a genuine high-performance audio system.
  • The Loudspeaker uses the ZVOX Infinite Compliance system - which connects the outer two main speakers with an acoustic tube. This system helps create big sound from a small cabinet.

The Loudspeaker's features.

  • The Loudspeaker is bi-amplified, using a specially designed amplifier that includes electronic contouring for superb frequency response.
  • The Loudspeaker's 10cm x 15cm subwoofer uses a high-mass long-throw design and incorporates a bandpass cabinet designed using proprietary software.
  • The Loudspeaker's three 8cm main speaker drivers use ferrofluid and neodymium magnets to create remarkably loud, remarkably clear sound.
  • The system is magnetically shielded so it can be used near a TV or monitor.
  • Unlike most systems in its price range, the Loudspeaker uses an MDF (medium density fiberboard) wood cabinet - instead of plastic. MDF is the preferred construction material for high-performance speaker systems.
  • A subwoofer output jack on the rear allows owners to connect a separate powered subwoofer (optional).
  • A credit card-sized remote control adjusts volume up and down, and has a mute function.
  • Auto-on/auto-off circuit senses sound from source (TV, iPod, PC) and turns on the Loudspeaker two seconds later. Three minutes after it has received no signal, it automatically shuts the unit off.
  • Simple, single-cord connecting system uses a mini stereo jack input on rear panel.
  • Two connecting cords are included: one with a stereo mini jack, one with RCA jacks.
  • The ZVOX Loudspeaker is backed by a one year limited parts and labor warranty.

How the Loudspeaker differs from the ZVOX 315 system.

  • The Loudspeaker has a more sophisticated amplifier that makes extensive use of electronic contouring to create smooth, natural tonal balance. It is a remarkably accurate audio system.
  • The Loudspeaker has double the amplifier power driving the crucial center (monaural) speaker.
  • The Loudspeaker uses high-mass 10cm x 15cm subwoofer in a larger bandpass cabinet than the 315's. Bass is tighter and goes lower.
  • It features a stylish industrial design, perforated metal grille, front-panel controls and remote control.
  • The Loudspeaker has a front-panel input, for use with an iPod or camcorder or PC, that automatically mutes anything plugged into the rear inputs
  • The cabinet is roughly 1.5cm higher and 5cm deeper than that of the 315.
